Bethany Mann has won the Democratic primary for the U.S. House District 3 seat in Missouri, securing over 73% of the vote. Mann's primary win reflects strong support from the Democratic voters in the district. Throughout her campaign, she has emphasized key issues such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and water infrastructure — key concerns for many in the community.
“I’m grateful to everyone who supported our campaign,” said Mann. “This win demonstrates that the people of District 3 are ready for new leadership and a renewed focus on the issues that matter most to our community. I’m confident that with continued hard work, we can build on this momentum as we head into the general election.”
This marks Mann's second time running in the general election, following her 2022 campaign where she earned the support of more than 1 in 3 voters in the district. Mann expects even stronger backing this year as she prepares to face Republican candidate Bob Ondor on November 5th. Ondor narrowly defeated Kurt Schaefer in the Republican primary. Schaefer was thought to be the Republican front runner and was the favored candidate of Blaine Luetkemeyer, the district’s current representative, as well as many other prominent Missouri Republican leaders.
As she heads into the general election, Bethany Mann remains committed to addressing the concerns of the whole district and advocating for policies that benefit all residents.
